Ceremonial jar Chocolate Highway - B
A unique original piece from a wide range of artefacts intended for ceremonial cocoa, chocolate dragees and original chocolates from Steiner & Kovařík. Individual cans are arranged in a set, in which they are processed in a wide range of variants - both thematic and technological.
The cans consist of two parts - an upper and a lower part.
It is a symbolic highway that turns into a roller coaster, and at the final roller coaster there is a great turn and transformation. Somewhere in the distance, this highway will turn into many small points - chocolate candies called dragé, full of tasty and healthy fruit. The candies are covered in rusty brown or ocher chocolate. It is further transformed into the fruit that filled it. This is how the entire can gradually develops on the four sides. And the subject on the four sides of the shell of the jar gradually gradates.

It is a certain genesis of the development of production from the chocolate fruit, which on the upper side - the lid - is shown as a lengthwise halved cocoa fruit full of cocoa beans. These pop out to the side and fall towards the brightly colored fruit and flowers, which basically slide from the first side to the longer side, where the aforementioned expensive pebbles and bonbons are. These then flow back through several small points into the chocolate highway. This is, in a nutshell, the symbolism of the genesis of the chocolate journey, which describes in detail the complete production in the Steiner & Kovařík chocolate factories. It is also possible to drive in reverse along the highway. Just as the resulting product - a chocolate bar - reaches the consumer, the client can follow where this material flows, what is produced from it, what happens to it and where it comes from.
Technique: The can is drawn with a pencil on the so-called overheat (800 ˚C), then the contour is painted with fusible paint and cobalt and colored with metal chlorides - salts. Glazing was followed by firing at 1400˚C. All other tones on this object are so-called surface colors and listers. Burns vary according to shades. Blue, violet and green tones are fired at 820 ˚C, brown, rust and ocher at 780 ˚C, and 750 ˚C is used for red crimson, pink and sometimes light orange tones. All these tones appear in the sum as azure, i.e. transparent, and add up to the underpainting of metal chlorides. This can has been fired four times. In no case is this so-called French porcelain fired only at 1,200˚C.
Each piece is provided with the author's signature "BO.NO.2022" on the bottom of the jar between the so-called legs. From all the technological and craft procedures mentioned above, it is clear that this is an absolute hand-made and original creation - an author's work not only in terms of subject matter - content and theme, but also in terms of form - an atypical technological procedure and own processing.
